Dubai and UAE transfers: offices, delivery and bank requests

Learn about the UR Dubai office, the difference between cash collection, bank deposits and supplier payments, and the details needed to confirm a transfer request.

Choose the request type in the UAE

Explain from the outset whether you need a personal transfer with cash delivery, a bank-account deposit or a business payment. The beneficiary name, amount, currency, purpose and receiving method determine what the team needs to review. Do not treat a cash-delivery quote as a bank-deposit quote; request separate confirmation for the required method.

Visiting the Dubai office

The office information published by UR specifies its address, telephone and working hours. Visits are by prior appointment, so contact the official number before arriving and state whether you are a customer or an agent with a top-up request. Ask which documents are needed for that visit, and retain the request or transfer reference for follow-up.

Deposits and business payments

For a bank request, prepare the account holder name, bank details, amount, currency and transfer purpose. For a supplier payment, prepare the business name, invoice and details requested by the team. Before approval, ask about the full fees, expected net credit, estimated timing and any possible intermediary charges.

Confirm rates and fees before approval

Check the rates and fees bulletin and request a quote specifying total payable, net payout, currency, estimated timing and delivery method. The bulletin uses the UR Global data source; the team confirms availability and cost for each request.

Start and follow your request

Prepare the beneficiary details and submit your enquiry through a customer account or official channels. After an actual transfer is issued, use its reference to track it. Do not publish the payout code with the receipt.
