Supplier payments in China: beneficiary details, invoices and currency

A guide to preparing a supplier-payment request for China: business name, invoice, payment details, Chinese yuan, and confirmation of the rate, quotation unit and fees.

Prepare supplier details and the invoice

Specify the beneficiary or business name, invoice amount and payment purpose. If payment is to a personal or company account, explain this to the team before execution; do not assume both names or account types are accepted in the same way. Send account details and documents through the official channel specified by the team, and verify them with the supplier before submitting.

The yuan rate is not the full request cost

The UR bulletin displays exchange-rate information from the UR Global app source. When requesting a China payment, ask about the quotation unit, sending currency and yuan amount to be credited to the supplier, as well as the service commission and any payment-method fees. Do not use an old figure from a previous message to estimate a new quote before confirming it.

Before approving the payment

Ask the team to confirm the available payment method, documents, estimated timing and follow-up reference. Retain the invoice and request evidence, and confirm receiving details with the supplier. Business-payment availability is reviewed per transaction; China being listed in the destination guide does not mean every bank, account or payment method is available.

Delivery offices in China and supplier payments

No approved delivery office for this destination currently appears in the site system. Confirm the receiving method with UR before payment.

Confirm rates and fees before approval

Check the rates and fees bulletin and request a quote specifying total payable, net payout, currency, estimated timing and delivery method. The bulletin uses the UR Global data source; the team confirms availability and cost for each request.

Start and follow your request

Prepare the beneficiary details and submit your enquiry through a customer account or official channels. After an actual transfer is issued, use its reference to track it. Do not publish the payout code with the receipt.
